So here I sit in my new humble abode happy out. If you told me last week I'd be this comfortable here in such a short space of time id of laughed at you.

College is only amazing. I feel it's just perfect for me and for the first week at least I come home happy everyday and actually listen in my lectures. It's so nice to finally be studying what im interested in instead of stats or the dreaded business studies. Im sure ill be complaing in a few weeks about essays and assignment but right now I love the course. People are lovely and kinda think like me but I'm sure not exactly like me cos we all know I'm quite the weirdo.
Brookfield is really nice. Turns out my room mate never showed up (she must of sensed i'd be awful to live with) so im living on my own for the time being. I'm already used to my spinster lifestyle eating noodles and tune in front of the tv alone. All i need is a few cats and im sorted. I'm kinda excited though as living on my own for six months is on my life goal list so hopefully ill get to tick it off.

I saw my first stab vest today on an undercover guard although he wasnt that undercover with his stab vest on and gun strapped to his side. Limerick obviously isnt the best at undercover jobs like.
Nearly my first week done in Limerick and its safe to say im happy although i miss travie soooo much its not been as bad as i thought it would be is good ole stab city. Im excited for what the year ahead holds for me :)

Now heres a bit of Kanye with Runaway which has been soothing me to sleep the past week. Say what you want about Kanye Ive loved since the moment I saw him in the old Marquee tent belting out golddigger. Lets have a toast....

8/9/10 and Patsy Cline

Firstly today's date is 8/9/10, this has convinced me something good will happen today it simply must! Although so far all thats happened is Ive worked all day and got 2 cans of coke for a euro in eurospar nothing too life changing there but still it hasn't been a bad day. I'm still very optimistic something amazing will happen before this once in a life time date is over.

And now Patsy Cline. As I write this Jackie and I are belting out ''She's got you'' in the kitchen. Patsy has to be one of my favourite singers of all time. I must thank Jackie for this as she brought me up listening to the fabulous woman and even ''Crazy'' is Jackie's song of choice when she has one too many glasses of wine. Today is Cline's birthday. She died age 30 in a plane crash. Just before she boarded the plane she said to a friend ''When it's my time to go, it's my time.". I love me some Patsy Cline long time. RIP you fabulous woman.

Its also Jason's birthday today and in honour of that I think a band we both mutually love (although he may be a bit of a bigger fan than me) should be posted. I hope you enjoy them as much as we do. Always remember there ain't no party like an s club party!

First Post :)

Oh how exciting my first post! :)

I'm not quite sure what the point of this whole thing will be but life is about to change a lot in the next few weeks and I thought this would be a good way of keeping in touch with everyone while documenting my new sure to be crazy experiences.

My love of random music is something I love to talk about starting with this that could very well be my song of the year. Niki and The Dove (Marina and the Diamonds, Florence and the Machine, Laura and the Primordial Dwarfs, the whole ''and the'' thing is very on trend) is another amazing artist to come out of Sweden alike my beloved Robyn. DJ Ease My Mind is everything you want in a song and I just can't stop playing it. Here it is..

Travie is currently curled up on my lap, terrified of the raging storm outside. The lashing wind and rain is a sure sign our summer is well and truely over but here's hoping we might get another few days of sun so I can burn.My bed is now calling  as a busy week of organising lies ahead of me. I'll leave you with a pic of the beautiful Travie fast asleep :)
